Welcome to the Servicing Department of District Council #5.

As a member of District Council #5 you have a trained staff available to you to answer important questions that may arise as well as Business Representatives who work for you to handle disputes, negotiate contracts, attend business meetings, and assist in maintaining local area standards. 

Members should feel free to call the District Council or their Business Representative with any question or problem, no matter how small it may seem. We work for you and strive to provide you with the most accurate answers we can.

Every member has a voice in our Union, be it at union meetings or in the field alongside our other brothers and sisters.  Every union depends on its members to be active in Local functions, organizing activities, political action and, most of all, on the jobsite.

Remember…Drywall Finishers, Carpet Layers, Glaziers, Painters, Sign/Display Workers, Shipyard Workers, Traffic Stripers, and our Allied Trades all work in the same organization as you.  We are the International Union of Painters and Allied Trades…Your Union!
